School Closings and Delays Alerts

Students, staff and parents of the Charlevoix Public Schools may subscribe to receive text messages or e-mail alerts regarding school closings and delays. The TxtAlert service is available online at www.charlevoixcourier.com and will be monitored by the Superintendent's Office. The TxtAlert program is a free service provided by thephoneguide.com and is not directly affiliated with Charlevoix Public Schools.

To sign up, visit the Courier’s Web site and click the link for “Alerts” located near the top of the page.

Beyond school closing information, users may also sign up to receive daily weather forecasts, breaking news, severe weather alerts, high school sports scores and more. There is no cost or commitment to sign up and you may change your message preferences or un-subscribe from the service at any time. The only potential costs to text message subscribers are those passed along by cell phone carriers for sending and receiving text messages.
